For the 84-91 Club Car or Columbia Par Car, the Air Filter is the mask your golf cart has to wear to survive. Without it, everything in the air around us can get sucked into your engine. Unlike you, your golf cart is not a natural walking carbon filter, and it can gum up from the debris. Even if you only use it in the neighborhood.
As a matter of fact, the intake is under the seat. You expose it to whatever the golf cart kicks up as it rolls around. It's like trying to breathe in a dust storm if you clog the air filter. This golf cart filter will work for DS models and the older Harley Davidson's that Columbia Par-Car made. It is an aftermarket unit, but it replaces the following OEM numbers. 1012506, 1013379, 29131-71, and 29131-88. That was the wonderful thing about these older manufacturers.
